14 Ways To Add Video To Your Law Firm Marketing

In 2016, video is King when it comes to marketing. Live streaming has become incredibly popular, and social media platforms are prioritizing videos over other types of posts.

Studies have shown that using video in an email subject line increases email open rate by 19% and click through rates by 65%.

If you want to maximize your marketing success, you must include video as part of your strategy.

Here are 14 ideas for adding video to your law firm marketing plan.

  1. Create short “Welcome” video for new clients. Use it as an opportunity to remind them why they made the right choice by hiring you.

  2. Film a short introduction to your firm and its mission and vision for your website and social media pages.

  3. Turn popular blog posts into how-to videos.

  4. Hold a live Q&A session on Periscope, Hangouts or FB Live.

  5. Create a short day in the life video to give a behind the scenes look at what you do.

  6. Make a short promotional video to promote a webinar or event.

  7. Create a fun holiday greeting video. This is perfect for social media and is more interesting than the standard status update.

  8. Use a video to answer common questions. You could do several videos and add them to the FAQ page on your website.

  9. Do a video on the common objections people have to for using your services. This is another one that would be great for both social media and your website.

  10. Do a video newsletter. If you have an email newsletter, you can share the same information in video form.

  11. Create a video follow up to an event. You can make a video thanking the attendees and include a slideshow and clips from the event.

  12. Share a video on how your firm contributes to your community.

  13. Use a video to introduce an ebook or other resource for potential clients on your website, blog or social media.

  14. Create an animated video dramatizing the benefits of your service. A great way to show a case study without using an actual person.

Most of these videos can be recorded on your smartphone, tablet or computer. If you keep the process simple it will be easier to create video on a regular basis.
